Wyndeham unveils new version of emagine Online Production System

The latest version of emagine, the award-winning Online Production System, will be officially launched at Publishing Expo, Olympia 2, on 24-25 February 2010. 

emagine is the magazine production system of choice for publishers, with over 1400 users using the system to create, manage and deliver magazine titles through its totally integrated production functionality. 

The beta version of the system, which has been available for review by current users was extremely well received, boasting many new features, modules and upgrades throughout the system. With the fully redesigned and intuitive menu system, emagine is even faster and easier to learn and use. Users can quickly and easily navigate throughout the entire system.

New system features include:

Ad Booker Module - can interface with many existing external ad booking systems, removing the need for publishers to double enter booking data. 

Ad Chaser Module - an automated copy chasing system that takes complete control of this previously time consuming process once an ad is booked into the system.

E-Mag Digital edition - the all-new page-turner is now faster and displays a full screen view with zoom capability. Automatically created in real-time as pages are processed, this allows advertising, editorial, design and production teams to instantly see how pages flow, and quickly identify and correct any editorial / advertising clashes. Additionally, titles produced through emagine can now be published on-line instantly, with the option of adding rich media content

Live KPI reporting – gives publishers access to live production data through pie chart displays or export all production data as flexible Excel spreadsheets.

Status Icons have been completely redesigned and now adopt a consistent, colour coded approach, to clearly show a failed, warning or approved page status.
