The Wyndeham Press Group today announced the appointment of David Emeny as the new Managing Director of Wyndeham Heron. David, who joins the business on 4th June 2007, succeeds John Munro, the Interim Managing Director, who will stay on until the end of June to ensure a smooth handover.
David Emeny, 48, has a career span of over 30 years in the printing and publishing industry. Following a number of years in sales and customer service, he ran the St Ives Andover web offset printing plant before being appointed to the St Ives Web Division board as Sales Administration Director. He was appointed Managing Director of the St Ives Web Division in 1998, where he led the development of the business.
“Wyndeham Heron has made real progress under John Munro’s interim leadership and we are now delighted to appoint an individual of Dave’s calibre into the position of Managing Director,” said Paul Utting, Chief Executive, Wyndeham Press Group. “His extensive experience in the web offset and magazine publishing industry is a sign of our commitment to the publishing sector and we are confident he will make a significant contribution to the business.”

Wyndeham also announced today that Steve Goodacre, who joined Wyndeham Heron as Finance Director in March 2007 on an interim basis has now accepted the position permanently, thereby providing continuity of leadership during the transition. Steve Goodacre brings with him a wealth of financial experience having held a number of key financial roles both in the UK and internationally. Prior to joining Wyndeham Steve has held senior posts within Rank Hovis, Phillip Morris, Lehman Brothers and Adal Group.
