Wyndeham extends printing contract with Haymarket Publishing to 2012

22nd May 2009

Wyndeham’s companies have a relationship with Haymarket going back four decades and a five year print deal was signed in 2005 to produce the bulk of Haymarket’s portfolio of weekly and monthly magazines. Under the new contract Wyndeham Heron will produce a total of 35 titles for Haymarket. Nine of these are weeklies including Haymarket’s flagship titles PrintWeek, Marketing and Autocar, a number of high profile monthlies including Stuff, WhatCar and 442, and a wide variety of other periodicals.

The titles will continue to be produced across three of Wyndeham’s print sites. The sections will be produced at Wyndeham Heron, the covers of the long-run titles at specialist web offset printer Wyndeham Impact, and a number of sheet-fed titles at Wyndeham Grange in Sussex.

Chris King, Group Production Director, Haymarket Publishing said:
“Wyndeham have been through a very difficult period and Paul Utting and the management team are to be applauded for their success in safeguarding the business. Haymarket are therefore pleased to support Wyndeham with this contract extension and to award new work to Heron.”

Paul Utting, Chief Executive, Wyndeham Press Group, said:
“We are delighted that Haymarket has extended its contract with Wyndeham. This further builds on the strong successful partnership between our businesses and signifies Haymarket’s long term commitment in the future of Wyndeham Press Group.”
