Recruitment of New Group Operations Director

Wyndeham Press Group PLC, a technology-leader in the specialist magazines, commercial literature and direct mail print markets, is delighted to announce the recruitment of Roy Kingston as Group Operations Director, a main Board position.

In line with the Group’s stated strategy to move increasingly to a more integrated business model, Roy has been recruited to build upon the progress already made. As Group Operations Director, his role will be to strengthen and further integrate the Group’s operational functions, including manufacturing, purchasing, production and human resources, across its nine businesses.

Roy Kingston, aged 45, is currently Manufacturing Director of the St Ives Web Division, a division of St Ives plc, where he held a significant role in developing the divisional strategy with particular responsibility for reorganising the manufacturing operations. Prior to joining St Ives in 1994, he spent 8 years at Southern Print culminating as Production Director.

Roy is currently negotiating his release from St Ives and will be joining the Group as soon as that has been resolved. We will make a further announcement as soon as appropriate.
