New Management Team for Wyndeham Pre-Press

The Wyndeham Press Group today announced a new management team for its pre-press businesses which serve the publishing market. Barry Fitzpatrick, formerly Group Technical Director, has been appointed Managing Director and Tony Austin becomes Chairman of the Wyndeham Pre-Press division.

Wyndeham’s publishing pre-press companies consist of Wyndeham Argent, Wyndeham Graphics (Bow and Kent), Wyndeham Icon, acquired by the Group in March 2006, and Wyndeham Masterpiece, the creative design studio. Barry Fitzpatrick takes up responsibility for the day to day operations of these businesses as well as the formulation and implementation of future strategy, and will be supported by Tony Austin. A new Board of Directors, reporting to Barry, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Barry Fitzpatrick has spent 20 years in the print and graphics arts industry. He was formerly Production Manager at Wace Publication Imaging which was acquired by the Graphic Facilities Group in 1995. Barry rose to become Technical Director of Graphic Facilities which was acquired by the Wyndeham Press Group in March 2004 and subsequently re-branded as Wyndeham Graphics. Barry has been Group Technical Director for the Wyndeham Press Group since March 2005, where he has led the technical development of the pre-press division and has been working on integrating its web based workflows across Wyndeham’s print sites.
