“We are absolutely delighted that IPC Media have chosen WPP as their sole pre-press supplier,” said Barry Fitzpatrick, Managing Director, Wyndeham Pre-Press Ltd. “We have spent the last two years adapting the business to reflect the changing market conditions and developing our portfolio of technologies. We couldn’t have done this without the hard work and dedication of all our employees.”
One of Wyndeham’s technologies is the emagine Publishing System which has been used by IPC’s advertising and editorial teams to assist with the publishing of their weekly TV listings titles. "We have been able to achieve an 80% complete digital pages (CDP) rate, despite the TV listings titles having a number of demanding regional versions. This proves that emagine is a mature and robust system which is not just a flat plan but the ultimate navigation tool for magazine publishing,” said Fitzpatrick.
Version 1.5 of emagine is now in circulation which has been enhanced with automatic re-folioing capability, in addition to full integration with Wyndeham’s asset management system and soft proofing tools.
